05.11.2025: Maaz Anwar & Birgit Tschiatschek (Univ. of Graz): My research and me, PART II, HS 02.11, Institut für Biologie, Bereich Zoologie, Universitätsplatz 2, 13:15 Uhr
Three doctoral students from the department of Biology are presenting their research and thesis work via videos and Q&A. Come and enjoy the insights into life of our doctoral students! The videos were prepared as the Seminar work in Dissertan:innen Seminar. Also a good chance for all the undergraduate students to see, how the thesis work is conducted in different labs.
Maaz Anwar: “‘’Exploring the potential role of BBE enzymes in xylem lignification in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana’’ – The study conducted during the video investigates how Berberine Bridge Enzyme (BBE) enzymes may contribute to the process of lignin biosynthesis in the xylem tissues of Arabidopsis thaliana.
Birgit Tschiatschek: “Tissues on the Move: Modeling Adult Tissue Renewal” - See how we can simulate and illuminate one of life’s most fundamental processes — the self-renewal of our tissues.
