Information for first semester students

Please register in the UGO for all courses you wish to attend - including lectures. In the UGO you will also receive all the information about the courses and access to Moodle when you register.

The time of registration itself does not matter - but please note the registration deadlines for some courses (VU, PS, SE).

The Studies Induction and Orientation Period (StEOP) comprises the following courses in the 1st semester and should be completed as soon as possible:

Curriculum version 2020W

Please note the following deviations from the curriculum:

For the lectures listed in the curriculum

J.1 Neuro- and Sensory Physiology (VO, 2 h, 3 ECTS) and J.2 Behavioural Biology (VO, 1 h, 1.5 ECTS)

Please complete the following lecture in the summer semester:

BIO.206 Behaviour, Neuro-, Sensory Physiology (VO, 3 h, 4.5 ECTS) and have it credited afterwards.

Many of the courses (PS, SE) are offered in both the summer and winter semesters, making it easier for you to plan your studies.

The following courses and lectures are offered in deviation from the curriculum:

BIO.309 VU Biostatistics in the winter semester

BIO.408 VO Neuronal foundations of behaviour in the summer semester

BIO.409 Practical exercises in behavioural and neurobiology in the summer semester

Curriculum version 2017W

Please note that the curriculum version 17W expires on 30 September 2024. After this date, you will automatically be transferred to curriculum version 20W.

Degree

The Bachelor's degree certificate must be submitted to the Examinations Office of the Faculty of Natural Sciences. As it takes some time to process, it can be submitted before the last examination has been completed. Further information can be found here.
